Since 1971, ASFOR – Associazione Italiana per la Formazione Manageriale (Italian Association for Managerial Training) has been the reference association for those in Italy involved in managerial training and development.
Through research, conferences and in-depth seminars, ASFOR promotes discussion on the most relevant issues of business culture and the evolution of the world of work.
In particular, the Managerial Learning Observatory explores evolutionary trends, innovation and best practicesin the business world, while ASFOR’s annual Leadership Learning Lab conference encourages debate on issues of leadership and values.
Through its accreditation system, launched in 1989, ASFOR collaborates with leading international associations in the development and sharing of best practices for the evaluation of trainingMaster’s, MBA, Executive and Corporate Academy courses.
The ASFOR system brings together 80 members, including Italy’s leading university-affiliated or independent business schools, numerous consulting and training companies as well as the Corporate Academies of large private and public groups and some professional associations.
The training activities of the associated management schools involve more than 170 thousand participants each year, generating a total turnover of more than 300 million euros, addressing an audience of more than 19 thousand client companies.
In 2013, ASFOR founded APAFORM – Asfor Professional Association of Management Trainers(www.apaform.it), which ensures the qualification of management training professionals.
ASFOR publishes the digital magazine FormaFuturi (www.formafuturi.news), a tool for reading the present and imagining the future, a source of inspiration for those responsible for training and guiding people and structures.
