The multidisciplinary research promoted by theInstitute for Enterprise Values (ISVI) under the sponsorship of the Lombard Group of Knights of Labor and the National Federation of the Knights of Labor aimed to answer the following question: how do you explain that Italy, despite the adverse conditions to “doing business,” has so many entrepreneurs and businesses that are unmatched in the world and that make it the second industrial country in Europe and the seventh in the world?
